Everything - sound, visuals - got such a major upgrade that this was the final word in sports video games. Judging by its online revival, people still enjoy it today in small doses. But even that one can't compete with PS3 Madden 10. Take a look at it, after taking in all of those older games. We've come a long way, and you, along with football video games, have been the largest beneficiary. That being said, time to lay off making fun of the older football video games. You get it. Those games, while archaic, got us to where we are today, and for that, they deserve their place in the video game hall of fame (though that first one may be better off in "video game hall of shame.") PS3 Madden 10 is in a whole different stratosphere than its predecessors, and for that, hardcore gamers have every reason to be stoked. And of course, the critics are equally enthusiastic about PS3 Madden 10, which is even more good news for fans of the franchise. Anytime you read a PS3 Madden 10 review, you'll see things like "realistic and enjoyable." No shocker - EA Sports has scored another touchdown with PS3 Madden 10. No doubt, PS3 Madden 10 is the real sport of champions, and don't let some douchebag tell you otherwise. Hey, each PlayStation sports video game is EPIC in its own way, but for our money, PS3 Madden 10 is the stuff legends are made of. For many, this is the PlayStation football game by which all others are measured. This is the game for the real men, not just the little kids, when you go toe-to-toe for some serious money.
